Learn how to make delicious Buffalo Chicken Sliders. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

If you’re looking to switch things up, try swapping the buffalo sauce for a milder barbecue sauce and replace the blue cheese with cheddar for a different flavor profile. And if you’re like me, always experimenting, feel free to add some pickled jalapeños for an extra kick!

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, melted butter, and ranch dressing. Stir until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns on the prepared baking sheet. Distribute the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the buns.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and crumbled blue cheese (if using) over the chicken mixture.
  5. Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese, pressing down gently.
  6. Brush the tops of the buns with olive oil and sprinkle with sliced green onions, salt, and pepper.
  7. Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the sliders warm for the best experience!

These sliders are a breeze to prepare, and I love using rotisserie chicken to save time. It’s a little trick I picked up from my grandmother—make the most of what you have and let the flavors speak for themselves.
