Learn how to make delicious Cajun Steak Bites and Cheesy Garlic Shells Skillet. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound medium pasta shells
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Begin by seasoning the steak pieces with Cajun seasoning, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  2. While the steak marinates, cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium and add butter to the same skillet. As it melts, stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the heavy cream, and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the cheddar and Parmesan cheeses until melted and smooth, creating a luscious sauce.
  6. Add the cooked pasta shells to the skillet, stirring to coat them thoroughly in the cheesy garlic sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them with the cheesy shells. Cook for another 2 minutes to warm through.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving, adding a fresh burst of color and flavor.
