- 2 sheets of puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
- Roll out one sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth out any creases.
- In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, mozzarella, Parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spread half of the cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry, covering it completely.
- Roll the pastry tightly into a log, then slice into 6 equal pieces.
- Place each piece, cut side up, into the prepared muffin tin.
- Repeat with the second sheet of puff pastry and the remaining cheese mixture.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg to give them a beautiful golden color as they bake.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cruffins are puffed and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm, as the cheese filling will be very hot.
