Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mashed avocado, lime juice, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. If you like a hint of spice, add the chili powder at this stage.
  2. Lay out the slices of sourdough bread on a clean surface. Spread butter on one side of each slice, ensuring the edges are covered for an even golden brown finish.
