  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 24 frozen potstickers (your choice of filling)
  • 2 cups baby spinach leaves
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add the chicken or vegetable broth to the pot, stirring in the soy sauce and rice vinegar. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, carefully add the frozen potstickers to the broth. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the potstickers are heated through and tender.
  4. Stir in the baby spinach leaves and sliced green onions, cooking for an additional 2 minutes until the spinach is wilted.
  5. Season the soup with salt and pepper according to your taste.
  6. Ladle the soup into bowls, garnishing with fresh cilantro or parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy the warmth and flavor that fills each bite.
