Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 2 cups prepared stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Feel free to substitute dried cranberries with fresh ones if you prefer a more tart flavor. You can also swap ground turkey for chicken or even a plant-based alternative if you’re exploring vegetarian options.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped cranberries, prepared stuffing mix, chicken broth, parsley, olive oil, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls, placing them on the prepared baking sheet. This is a perfect task to involve kids or family members, just like my siblings and I helped my abuela in the kitchen.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the stuffing balls are golden brown and cooked through. The aroma will remind you of holiday gatherings and family warmth.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
