Ingredients
- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish
If you don’t have smoked paprika on hand, regular paprika or even a pinch of cayenne pepper can add a nice kick to the dish.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil until they are well-coated.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix until the cauliflower pieces are evenly coated with the seasoning and cheese.
- Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure the pieces are not crowded to ensure even roasting.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
As my grandmother used to say, “Listen to the sizzle and watch for the golden hue.” This is a sign that your cauliflower is perfectly roasted.
