Learn how to make delicious Easy Cinnamon Donut Loaf. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)

Feel free to substitute whole milk with almond milk for a dairy-free option, and if you’re out of vanilla extract, a dash of almond extract can add a unique twist.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. While the loaf is baking, mix the additional sugar and cinnamon for the topping in a small bowl.
  8. Let the loaf cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove it and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top while it’s still warm.

The aroma that fills your kitchen during baking is simply irresistible—much like the weekends I spent perfecting recipes with my grandmother.
