2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
8 ounces fettuccine pasta
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 7-8 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
