Instructions
- Start by browning the butter. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, stirring constantly until it turns a golden brown and releases a nutty aroma, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a large mixing bowl and let it cool slightly.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- To the bowl with browned butter, add the brown sugar and granulated sugar. Beat until well combined.
- Add the vanilla extract, bourbon, and eggs to the butter and sugar mixture. Beat until smooth and creamy.
