Ingredients
- 1 pound spicy sausage, crumbled
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Feel free to mix things up based on what you have in your pantry. If spicy sausage isn’t your thing, try a milder version or even ground turkey for a lighter option. The beauty of cooking is in making each recipe your own!
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the crumbled sausage until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and sour cream. Stir until well mixed.
- Add the cooked sausage, chopped green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
- Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the top is lightly golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite chips or vegetable sticks!
One tip from my own kitchen adventures: if you like a bit of heat, consider adding some chopped jalapeños or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the mix for an extra kick!
