Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
If you’re looking for a milder flavor, you can substitute regular honey for the hot honey and add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a gentle heat.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking dish with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, mix together the hot honey, olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Pour the hot honey mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated.
- Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese evenly over the chicken. My grandmother always believed in a generous hand with cheese, and I follow her lead here.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving for a pop of color and freshness.
