Learn how to make delicious Hot Honey Pizza with Ricotta And Pepperoni. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.
Total Time:45 minutes
Yield:4 servings
Ingredients
1 pound pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
1 cup ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
4 ounces pepperoni slices
1/4 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat up.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Remember, a thinner crust will crisp up nicely, while a thicker crust will have a chewier bite.
Brush the rolled-out dough with olive oil and season with a little salt and pepper.
Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the surface of the dough, leaving a half-inch border around the edges.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the ricotta, then add the pepperoni slices evenly across the top.
Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated stone or baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle with red pepper flakes to your taste.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
