Learn how to make delicious Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces of pasta (penne or rigatoni works best)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble once cool. Leave about 1 tablespoon of bacon fat in the skillet.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet with the bacon fat. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned and fully cooked. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Drain excess fat.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and milk, stirring constantly. Bring the mixture to a simmer, allowing it to thicken slightly, about 5 minutes.
  6. Add the cheddar and Parmesan cheeses, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth. Remember how my abuela always taught me to taste as you go — it’s the best way to ensure the perfect flavor!
  7. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, mixing until the pasta is thoroughly coated. Stir in the crumbled bacon.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
