Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Feel free to customize your quesadillas with your favorite pizza toppings. If you prefer a vegetarian option, simply omit the pepperoni and add more veggies!
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet and spread 1/4 cup of pizza sauce evenly over it.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by 1/4 cup of sliced pepperoni, olives, and bell peppers.
- Sprinkle a pinch of oregano and garlic powder for extra flavor.
- Place another tortilla on top and gently press down.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes, until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt.
- Carefully flip the quesadilla using a spatula, and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Once both sides are crispy and the cheese is fully melted, remove from the skillet.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make additional quesadillas.
- Let the quesadillas cool for a minute before slicing into wedges. Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Remember, the key to a perfect quesadilla is in that golden, crispy tortilla. Keep an eye on the heat to prevent burning, and don’t be afraid to experiment with different fillings!
