Learn how to make delicious Philly Cheesesteak Sliders. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef sirloin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

If you’re looking for a substitution, you can use roast beef from the deli instead of slicing your own beef, which can save some prep time. And for a cheesy twist, try adding a slice of American cheese along with the provolone for extra creaminess.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until the beef is browned.
  3. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the onions and peppers. Sauté until the onions are translucent and the peppers are tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Return the beef to the skillet and mix with the onions and peppers. Remove from heat.
  5. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns on a baking sheet. Evenly distribute the beef mixture over the buns.
  6. Top with provolone cheese slices, then cover with the top halves of the buns.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder. Brush the tops of the buns with the garlic butter mixture.
  8. Cover the sliders with foil and bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
