Total Time:45 minutes
Yield:4 servings
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and 2 cups of granulated sugar until well combined.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, and whisk until smooth and glossy.
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon until creamy and smooth.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Drop spoonfuls of the pumpkin cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter.
Using a knife, gently swirl the pumpkin mixture into the brownie batter to create a marbled effect.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment overhang. Cut into squares and enjoy!
