Total Time:45 minutes
Yield:4 servings
Ingredients
9 lasagna noodles
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 pound lobster meat, roughly chopped
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, and cook the lasagna noodles until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the shrimp and lobster to the skillet, cooking until the shrimp is pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk and cream, cooking until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Add Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper to the sauce, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Spread a thin layer of the sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
Spread half of the seafood mixture over the noodles, followed by a third of the ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of noodles topped with sauce and the remaining mozzarella cheese.
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
