2 large eggs

1 cup crab meat, picked over for shells
1/2 pound smoked sausage, sliced
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons hot sauce
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, combine the buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined.
