Learn how to make delicious Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta Bake Recipe. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of pasta (penne or rotini work well)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For a twist, you can substitute ground turkey for beef or use turkey bacon. And if you’re feeling adventurous, a sprinkle of crushed red pepper adds a delightful kick.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Remove excess fat.
  4. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the drained diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta, beef mixture, and crumbled bacon in a large bowl. Mix well to ensure everything is coated in the sauce.
  7. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

As my abuela taught me, always taste and adjust seasoning as you go. It’s the secret to making every dish your own!
