1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
1 pound breakfast sausage
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large pizza pan or baking sheet lightly.
Open the can of biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Place them on the prepared pan, pressing them together to form a seamless crust. This is where I channel my inner child, remembering how I used to help my mom press dough for empanadas.
Bake the biscuit crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until just lightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the breakfast sausage until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat but leave a tablespoon in the skillet.

Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
