Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 4 flatbreads
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until they become golden brown and caramelized, about 20 minutes.
  2. In the same skillet, add the ground beef, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet.
  4. Spread an even layer of the caramelized onions over each flatbread. Top with the cooked beef mixture.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and crumbled feta over the top of each flatbread.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Slice and serve warm.
