  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to a rectangle about 12×16 inches in size.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the dough.
  6. Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log.
  7. Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 1-inch pieces and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
