Learn how to make delicious Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries with Sprinkles. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Gathering the right ingredients is crucial, and luckily, this recipe requires only a few simple items. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and dried
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips (or your preferred chocolate type)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)
  • 1/2 cup assorted sprinkles

For substitutions, you can use dark chocolate for a richer flavor or white chocolate for a sweeter touch. If you prefer a different texture, swap coconut oil with butter or omit it entirely.

Instructions

  1. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. This will prevent the strawberries from sticking.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is smooth and completely melted.
  3. Holding a strawberry by the stem, dip it into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off before placing it on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Immediately sprinkle your choice of sprinkles over the chocolate-coated strawberry before it sets. This ensures they adhere well.
  5. Repeat the process with the remaining strawberries.
  6. Once all strawberries are dipped and decorated, refrigerate them for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.

One tip from my experience: make sure the strawberries are thoroughly dry before dipping them. Any moisture can prevent the chocolate from adhering properly.
