Learn how to make delicious Crabby Shrimp-Stuffed Garlic Bread Bombs. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup of lump crab meat
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 12 small round bread rolls
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the minced garlic in 2 tablespoons of butter until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in the crab meat and cooled shrimp mixture.
  4. Cut a circle in the top of each bread roll and hollow out the center, being careful not to pierce the bottom or sides.
  5. Spoon the crab and shrimp filling into each hollowed-out roll, pressing down slightly to pack it in.
  6. Mix the remaining melted butter with parsley and Parmesan cheese. Brush the tops of each roll generously with the butter mixture.
  7. Place the filled rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
