Follow these simple steps to bring this dish to life:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and sauté the mushrooms until they are tender and golden, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
