Learn how to make delicious Creamy Beef and Noodles. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Let’s gather the ingredients to create this delicious dish. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 pound of beef chuck, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

If you’re out of egg noodles, feel free to substitute with any pasta you have on hand. And for a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.

Instructions

Now, let’s get cooking! Follow these steps to whip up your Creamy Beef and Noodles:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef pieces and season with salt and pepper. Sear until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the beef and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the diced onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the beef back to the skillet along with the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and dried thyme. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 45 minutes, or until the beef is tender.
  4. In a separate pot, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  5. Once the beef is tender, stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the creamy sauce.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

As my abuela always said, “Cook with your senses.” Taste as you go, and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
