Learn how to make delicious Creamy Yogurt Fruit Salad. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Crafting this salad is a breeze with these simple yet flavorful ingredients. Feel free to mix and match fruits based on what’s in season or your personal preferences.

  • 1 cup of creamy Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (optional for added sweetness)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 1 cup of diced ripe mango
  • 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans (optional for crunch)
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon (optional for added warmth)

You can substitute any of the fruits with your favorites or whatever you have on hand. Apples, pineapples, and grapes work wonderfully as well!

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well integrated.
  2. Gently fold in the strawberries, blueberries, mango, kiwi, and banana. Be careful not to mash the fruits as you blend them with the yogurt mixture.
  3. If you like a bit of crunch, add the chopped walnuts or pecans. Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon for an extra layer of flavor.
  4. Once everything is mixed, cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully.
  5. Just before serving, give the salad a gentle stir and transfer it to a serving dish. Enjoy it chilled for the best flavor experience.

One of the lessons I learned from my family is to taste as you go. Adjust the sweetness or add more fruit as you see fit. This salad is all about making it your own!
