Learn how to make delicious Easy Spaghetti Garlic Bread Bowls. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 large bread bowls or round sourdough loaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 ounces spaghetti pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the tops off the bread bowls and hollow out the inside to create space for the spaghetti.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture inside each bread bowl, ensuring an even coating.
  3. Place the bread bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until they’re slightly crispy. This step helps the bread bowls hold the spaghetti without getting soggy.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  5. In a large saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat. Add the cooked spaghetti and toss until the pasta is thoroughly coated.
  6. Remove the bread bowls from the oven. Divide the spaghetti evenly among the bowls, then sprinkle each with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Return the filled bread bowls to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving for an added burst of color and freshness.
