Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Optional: sesame seeds for garnish
If you’re looking for substitutions, you can swap the cheddar for your favorite cheese, like Monterey Jack or pepper jack for an extra kick. And feel free to experiment with turkey bacon or a plant-based meat substitute for a lighter or vegetarian version!
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and let it cool, then crumble.
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add in the crumbled bacon and cheese, combining well.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end, and place the rollups on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic. Brush the garlic butter over each rollup generously.
- Optional: Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top for added texture.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and the beef is cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving, allowing the flavors to meld together beautifully.
