- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Add minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef, stirring well to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Drain any excess fat from the skillet, then remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well-mixed.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Spoon a generous tablespoon of the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Carefully roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end, and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the rollups with melted butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley if using.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
- Let the rollups cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm, relishing the comforting blend of flavors.
