1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for extra spice)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Instructions
Begin by cooking the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the garlic and cook for another minute, until fragrant.
Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and no longer pink, approximately 5-7 minutes.
