Learn how to make delicious Peach Cobbler Dessert Fries. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, sliced (or canned peaches, drained)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Vanilla ice cream, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Peel and slice the russet potatoes into thin fries. Place them in a bowl and toss with vegetable oil, cinnamon, and granulated sugar.
  3. Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the peaches, brown sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the peaches are tender and the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool slightly. Arrange them on a serving platter.
  6. Spoon the warm peach mixture over the fries, ensuring even distribution.
  7. Top with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream and serve immediately for the best experience.
