Learn how to make delicious Peanut Butter Cup Brownie Cheesecake. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 8 oz peanut butter cups, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch springform pan and set it aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter and 2 cups of sugar until well combined.
  3. Add in the flour, cocoa powder, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until you have a smooth batter.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean. Let it cool slightly.
  5. While the brownie layer cools, prepare the cheesecake layer. In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until smooth and creamy.
  6. Add in the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract, sour cream, and peanut butter until fully incorporated.
  7. Carefully pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled brownie layer. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Sprinkle the chopped peanut butter cups over the top of the cheesecake layer.
  9. Place the springform pan on a baking sheet to catch any drips, and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
  10. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar for about an hour. Then, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
