Learn how to make delicious Potsticker Stir Fry. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Gather these ingredients to whip up a quick and satisfying meal:

  • 1 package (about 12 ounces) of frozen potstickers
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds and cilantro for garnish (optional)

If you don’t have snap peas, feel free to substitute with broccoli or any other crunchy vegetable you like. The beauty of this dish lies in its adaptability, so make it your own!

Instructions

Follow these simple steps for a dish that will impress everyone at the table:

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Arrange the frozen potstickers flat-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 4 minutes until they are golden and crispy on the bottom.
  2. Add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and cover. Allow the potstickers to steam for an additional 4-5 minutes or until they are fully cooked. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Sauté the minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced bell pepper, snap peas, and julienned carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir to coat evenly.
  6. Return the potstickers to the skillet and gently toss with the vegetables and sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat everything through.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro if desired before serving.

Cooking with love and a touch of spontaneity, much like my abuela, makes every meal special. Enjoy the process, and don’t be afraid to adjust flavors to your liking!
