Learn how to make delicious Roasted Garlic Herb Salmon. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Feel free to substitute the dried herbs with fresh ones if available, or mix and match with your favorite herbs. If you prefer a bit of heat, a pinch of red pepper flakes can add a delightful kick!

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the garlic herb mixture generously over each fillet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with lemon slices if desired, and serve warm.

A tip from my kitchen: keep an eye on the salmon during the last few minutes of cooking to prevent overcooking, ensuring it stays juicy and tender.
