Total Time:45 minutes
Yield:4 servings
Ingredients
1.5 pounds of sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes (or metal skewers)
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.
Add the cubed steak to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If you’re using a grill pan, heat it over medium-high heat.
Thread the steak, bell peppers, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between meat and vegetables.
Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes to ensure even cooking. Look for a nice char and medium-rare doneness.
Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help the juices redistribute, keeping the meat tender and flavorful.
