Learn how to make delicious Salted Caramel Cheesecake Truffles. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Begin by combining the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a medium bowl. Stir until the crumbs are well-coated and the texture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press the crumb mixture into a baking dish lined with parchment paper to form a thin crust. Chill in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust, then return it to the fridge for another 30 minutes to set.
  5. Once set, pour the caramel sauce over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle with sea salt, then freeze for about 1 hour.
  6. After freezing, cut the layered dessert into small squares, about 1-inch each, and roll them into balls to form the truffles.
  7. Melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  8. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, using a fork to ensure it’s fully coated. Place on a parchment-lined tray and sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt.
  9. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator until the chocolate has hardened, about 20 minutes, before serving.
