Learn how to make delicious Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons butter (optional, for brushing)

If you’re feeling adventurous, try swapping the cheddar for pepper jack or adding some diced bell peppers for a bit of color and flavor. Cooking is all about making it your own!

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, scramble the eggs until just set. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles on a lightly floured surface.
  5. On each triangle, place a portion of scrambled eggs, a sprinkle of cheese, and a spoonful of crumbled sausage.
  6. Roll up each crescent starting at the wide end, tucking in the edges to seal the filling inside.
  7. Place the roll-ups on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with melted butter if desired.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving, and enjoy the warm, cheesy goodness!

These are best when enjoyed fresh out of the oven, but if you’re like me and love a good reheated breakfast, they hold up well for later too.
