Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 2 tablespoons butter (optional, for brushing)
If you’re feeling adventurous, try swapping the cheddar for pepper jack or adding some diced bell peppers for a bit of color and flavor. Cooking is all about making it your own!
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, scramble the eggs until just set. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles on a lightly floured surface.
- On each triangle, place a portion of scrambled eggs, a sprinkle of cheese, and a spoonful of crumbled sausage.
- Roll up each crescent starting at the wide end, tucking in the edges to seal the filling inside.
- Place the roll-ups on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with melted butter if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving, and enjoy the warm, cheesy goodness!
These are best when enjoyed fresh out of the oven, but if you’re like me and love a good reheated breakfast, they hold up well for later too.
